WIP PROJECTS
Minion - WIP
Immediately wanted to create this amazing concept as soon as I saw it on Artstation. There is also another concept I am also eager to make as well, but currently have not started it. I have mostly done the ZBrush stage, but in the process of adding microdetails and contemplating about the best way to go about the wings to capture the mothy/hairy aesthetic.

Stylized Frog - WIP
As much as I love realistic artwork for characters and creatures, I wanted to explore more stylized artwork and attempt to expand and improve my diversity of work. I found this concept on Artstation and I immediately loved it and wanted to make it. I have mostly finished the ZBrush work, but need to implement it into Maya for the next stages. The original artist reference is proving difficult to confirm as I can’t find the original artwork on Artstation to give proper credit, but I will keep looking until I can find them.

Forgotten Fairy Queen - WIP
I saw the original artwork on Artstation and was really enticed by the concept and ethereal aesthetic of the character. I started this project a wee while ago and currently trying to split time between this project and others. It still has some work to be done in ZBrush before moving on to the next stage, but I am really looking forward to it. I aim to test out some other software to try get some results for particular parts, but yet to be decided.

Tarantula Hawk - WIP
I am also currently trying to improve my hard-surface modelling with Patrick van Rooijen providing mentorship. This is my current hard-surface character dubbed; Tarantula Hawk. As with my other projects, I am currently balancing time to work on this character, in addition to learning more about hard surface modelling in order to be more adaptable for potential future projects. There is no strict design guidelines, so there may be changes, but will try to keep to original design. This is my first full hard-surface character model, so it will be a learning and developmental piece overall.
