ROBOT TEXTURING

The Robot Model was already produced before I joined Astrodreamer Studios, so my first main priority during my time in Astrodreamer was to re-texture each and every one of the Robot characters that were featured in the game and each one had their own unique personality and aesthetic colour scheme. The software I used was Substance Painter which allowed me to include unique details for each robot whilst keeping true to the brief i.e. matte colour + similar pattern and colour scheme as first proposed.

There are 14 different Robots featured in the game, but below are a few examples of those with their unique details which I added that make them stand out more in my opinion.

Below in order is screenshots of the set-dressing I have done for the project. The order is; DU-K3 & J4K3 (DU-K3 & J4-K3 are a pair), J4-M3S (J4-M3S has been discontinued, but still has cool details), BU-RN1, PO-PPY (who had vines but that attachment has been discontinued) and A5H-L3Y.
